About our ‘Spring Flush' Loose Leaf Green Tea

From the prized first flush of Spring growth, this unique whole leaf green tea has complex floral and aromatic flavours that excite the taste buds and leaves the palate sweet & refreshed.

Harvested and processed in October of the production year.

When brewed correctly, this green tea is not bitter. This method allows the exceptional flavours to be enjoyed to their full potential over 5 or more steeps.

We recommend trying without milk or sweetener.

Brewing instructions for 'Spring Flush' Loose Leaf Green Tea

For 1 - 4 people, use approx. 5g of tea (3-4 teaspoons), add 200-250ml of water at around 85-90℃.

Don't have a temperature-controllable kettle? Just boil 1 L and add 100ml of cool tap water to drop the temperature down to approx. 90℃

We recommend:

First steep to be 30 seconds
Second - 45 seconds
Third - 1 minute
Fourth - 2 minutes
Fifth - 3 minutes
